Welcome the fall season by taking advantage of Boca Raton’s third annual Wine and Food Festival on Friday, November 9th to Sunday, November 11th. We’re fortunate to have a collection of brilliant and innovative chefs who call Boca Raton home, and they’re excited to prepare delectable dishes throughout the weekend. Boca Raton is poised to see an influx in tourism during the festival, which has become the largest outdoor culinary festival in South Florida. With four-course meals, wine tastings, and Sunday brunch, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to taste the craft of some of Florida’s best chefs, and fine wines from some of the world’s most celebrated vineyards.

Friday’s “Dinner under the Stars” will feature four-course meals from several different areas, including Spain, America, the Mediterranean, France, Italy, and Asia Pacific, each with perfectly paired wines.  Wines from around the globe will be expertly paired with each of these meals, and will be tasted at the Perfect Pairings Tasting on Saturday afternoon. Saturday evening’s “Grand Tasting Affair” will feature 70 chefs from all over the state, including some of Florida’s most renowned chefs from five-star restaurants, and some local favorites as well.  Sunday’s “Jazz Bubbles & Brunch” will include live music from the Urban Gypsy Band, and a full American brunch.

Ticket prices will in part benefit local charity organizations, including nonprofit community sponsors PROPEL (People Reaching Out to Provide Education and Leadership) and the Adolph and Rose Levis Jewish Community Center, which are both located in Boca Raton.  Other sponsoring partners also supporting these local non profits at the food and wine festival and will be open at the Retail and Business Bazaar. From specialty cooking spices, gelato, and cigars to diamonds and limousine services, there’s a little something for everyone at the Retail Bazaar.

A wide range of cuisines will be featured at Saturday evening’s event from pizza, Mediterranean, Asian and even barbecue to chocolatiers, cupcake specialists, and cheesecake makers.  A number of catering specialists who have serviced events for thousands of people are waiting to cater to you, so come show your support for some of Boca Raton’s finest, and enjoy some of the richest culinary talent that Florida has to offer.

Lee Blakley will serve again for the third time as the festival’s executive chef, setting the culinary agenda.  Blakley has traveled all over the world, sampling and studying some of the finest foods that Europe, Africa, and South America have to offer.  She brings her expertise from her world travels to her cuisine, and to the event’s exotic range of food and wine.
